Currently Teacher at the Institute of Occupational Therapy of the CHU of Bordeaux, I am a permanent researcher of the EA 4136 HACS since 2013. Assessment of brain-injured patients in their ecological environment and Neuropsychological assessment at the neuropsychological Unit that I joined in 2001 contributed to enrich my clinical experience (from 1984 to 2013) at the CHU de Bordeaux. I obtained my PhD in Cognitive Sciences (2013) and I am particularly interesed in everyday life activities, using simulation in Virtual Reality. This tool permits to assess and to rehabilitate cognitive impairments after an aquired brain injury.

My first researches focused on disorders of topographic orientation, that impair social participation. Now, my researches involving the RV tools offer me to collaborate with Evelyne Klinger, director of the research laboratory INSH (Digital Interactions Health and Handicap) of ESEIA in Laval, and the neurological rehabilitation team of the Mutualist Center of Rehabilitation of Kerpape In Lorient. We work more specifically on the construction of shopping test in a virtual supermarket (assessment and training with transfer in ecological environment).

Another topic of my researches focuses on the spontaneous recovery of the upper-limb’s use following a stroke in patient’s everyday life. We aim to predict this use according to the level of functional recovery after post-acute neurorehabilitation .
